Position Summary:

As a Mammography Technologist at our facility, you will provide essential mammography services to our patients, following physician orders. You will be instrumental in preparing and maintaining mammography rooms and diagnostic equipment, performing high-quality testing, and operating equipment according to prescribed safety standards. This role is pivotal in exercising professional judgment and upholding medical ethics in diagnostic services, with a strong commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality.


Essential Job Functions:

  • Patient-Centric Care: Ensure patient safety through proper exposure and protective measures, educate and explain procedures thoroughly to patients, and accommodate patient needs flexibly.
  • Professional Excellence: Produce high-quality mammographic images for interpretation, adhere to strict infection control standards, and maintain a safe, clean, and orderly work environment.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with a team of dedicated professionals, consulting and communicating across departments to ensure seamless patient care.

Physical Job Requirements and Environmental Risks:

  • Manage physical tasks and navigate environmental risks as outlined, ensuring personal and patient safety.


Education and Certification Requirements:

  • Diploma from a Vocational/Technical school required.
  • BLS certification, ARRT certificate, and a Mammography license through OBMI required.
  • 0 – 1 year’s experience required, with 2-4 years preferred.
  • Strong command of English, excellent interpersonal skills, and proficient with standard office equipment.
