Job Title: Production Operator

Location: Wheeling, IL 60090, USA  

Employment Type: Temporary  

Shifts Available:

• Days A Shift: 6:00 AM - 6:30 PM (Three positions)
• Days B Shift: 6:00 PM - 6:30 AM (Two positions)  

Work Schedule:

• Week 1: 36 hours  
• Week 2: 48 hours  

Requirements:

• Steel-toed boots required (Expense can be reimbursed)  
• Physical required  

Major Tasks:  

1. Advocate and practice safety protocols.
2. Participate in plant safety committee meetings and activities.
3. Operate paint making control systems and manufacturing equipment such as pumps and valves.
4. Operate packaging equipment including robotics, filling machines, case packers, and labelers.
5. Operate forklifts for material handling.
6. Assist in unloading dry and liquid materials and loading trucks with finished goods.
7. Monitor product quality in manufacturing and packaging areas, ensuring compliance with specifications.
8. Report unsafe conditions using STOP or SMART cards.
9. Read and follow instructions in all areas of production, packaging, shipping, and receiving.
10. Participate in housekeeping activities to maintain a safe and clutter-free work environment.

Additional Duties:

• Assist in training other General Production Operators as required.
• Flexibility to work different shifts to cover vacations, overtime, or call-ins.
