Dermatologist

Patients come to you when skin disease changes how they look, feel, and live. You will deliver precise diagnosis and treatment that restores comfort and confidence, and build a practice known for clinical judgment and plain-spoken care. Your work shapes outcomes across medical, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology for people who expect both expertise and respect.

Performance Objectives

  • Diagnose and manage skin, hair, and nail conditions so each patient leaves with a clear plan and a path to measurable improvement.
  • Perform biopsies, excisions, cryotherapy, and related office procedures with complication rates at or below practice benchmarks.
  • Detect and treat skin cancer early, and coordinate timely referral when multidisciplinary care will improve survival and recovery.
  • Raise retention and satisfaction by explaining options clearly and closing follow-up within agreed timelines.
  • Keep documentation accurate and timely so quality review, coding, and continuity of care hold up under scrutiny.
  • Convert appropriate medical and cosmetic consultations into completed treatment plans that grow the practice responsibly.

Environment & Resources

You will practice with experienced clinical and administrative colleagues in a well-equipped outpatient setting, with modern diagnostics, procedure rooms, and an electronic health record. Support staff manage scheduling, authorizations, and room turnover so your time stays with patients. You report to medical leadership and help shape protocols within an established supply and equipment budget.

Essential Qualifications

  • MD or DO and completion of an accredited dermatology residency, with board certification or active board eligibility.
  • Unrestricted medical license, or eligibility to obtain one before start.
  • Proven skill in medical dermatology and common office procedures.
  • Current DEA registration and a record of evidence-based prescribing.
  • Clear communication with patients of all ages and skin types, including complex or anxious cases.

Why This Role

  • Success is defined by healthier skin, earlier cancer detection, and trusted relationships—not administrative volume.
  • Clinical autonomy paired with a team that protects your patient time.
  • A balanced mix of medical, surgical, and aesthetic work that keeps your skills broad.
  • Compensation tied to the care you deliver, with benefits built for a long practice.
