Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM EST

Starting Rate: $10/hour

About the Opportunity:

We are a boutique, values-driven legal practice serving clients in Maryland and Washington, DC. Our small, collaborative team is committed to protecting families and preserving legacies, combining the highest professional standards with a culture of collaboration, joy, and humor.


We are seeking a skilled Legal Virtual Assistant to support the principal attorney and collaborate closely with our client-facing legal assistant. This role offers meaningful work, flexibility, and the chance to grow alongside a small but expanding practice.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Draft estate planning documents using WealthCounsel (WealthDocx), including:
  • Wills
  • Revocable living trusts
  • Powers of attorney
  • Advance directives
  • Provide administrative and operational support, including:
  • Scheduling and calendar management
  • Client intake coordination
  • Remote notarial/signing logistics
  • Professional correspondence and client communications
  • Collaborate closely with existing staff to ensure smooth workflow and excellent client service
  • Maintain strict adherence to confidentiality, firm procedures, and document standards


Required Qualifications:

  1. Strong written and spoken English communication skills – essential for client-adjacent correspondence and document drafting
  2. Hands-on experience with WealthCounsel/WealthDocx – must be proficient from day one
  3. Familiarity with core estate planning documents – wills, trusts, powers of attorney, advance directives
  4. Ability to work independently and manage tasks proactively – minimal supervision required
  5. Collaborative work style – able to integrate seamlessly with existing staff and firm culture


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with family law matters (helpful but not required)
