Paralegal / Senior Paralegal (Family Law – Colorado)

Location: Fully Remote (Colorado-based preferred)

Schedule: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM (Flexible within structure)

Employment Type: Full-Time

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Family Law Paralegal or Senior Paralegal (including Licensed Legal Paraprofessionals) to join our growing remote team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a structured yet flexible environment, enjoys working independently, and takes pride in delivering high-quality, detail-oriented legal support.

You will work closely with attorneys handling Colorado family law matters, supporting a dynamic caseload in a modern, tech-forward law firm that values efficiency, autonomy, and results over micromanagement.


Key Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive paralegal support in Colorado family law cases (divorce, custody, support, post-decree matters) 
  • Draft and prepare legal documents, pleadings, disclosures, and correspondence 
  • Manage case files, deadlines, and discovery processes with high attention to detail 
  • Communicate with clients, courts, and opposing counsel as directed 
  • Support attorneys in trial preparation, hearings, mediation, and settlements 
  • Maintain accurate billing entries and assist with case tracking systems 
  • Ensure cases move forward efficiently through proactive task management 


Compensation & Benefits

  • Starting Base Salary $65,000 to $75,000 (could be higher depending on experience) with total compensation potential starting of $85,000+ based on performance
  • Bonus Structure: 
  • Eligible for bonus on billed/collected hours over 100–110 hours (threshold depends on base salary) 
  • Bonus payout of 33%–50% of overage amounts, depending on base salary tier

Ideal Candidate Profile

  • 3+ years of Colorado family law paralegal experience 
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive self-starter 
  • Comfortable working independently in a remote environment 
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills 
  • Experienced with family law filings, disclosures, and court procedures 
  • Able to manage deadlines and prioritize competing tasks effectively 
  • LLP designation is a plus but not required
