Position Overview

We are a Missouri-based law firm seeking a highly skilled US Legal Virtual Assistant specializing in Probate and Trust Administration, based in the Philippines. This role is ideal for someone with strong US legal experience in estate settlement, trust administration, and probate support, who values accuracy, professionalism, and high-quality client service.


You will support attorneys in managing probate and trust administration matters, including preparing court and fiduciary documents, organizing estate files, and ensuring clients and beneficiaries receive timely, precise, and well-structured legal support.


This is a remote role, but requires strict alignment with US Central Time (Missouri, USA) working hours.


Key Responsibilities

• Assist attorneys with probate and trust administration case management from intake through resolution

• Draft and prepare probate-related documents including petitions, inventories, accountings, notices, and fiduciary reports

• Support trust administration tasks such as asset inventories, distribution schedules, and beneficiary communications

• Convert client-provided information and attorney notes into accurate, well-structured legal documents

• Review probate and trust documents for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with firm standards and court requirements

• Assist with client, beneficiary, and financial institution communication in a professional and client-focused manner

• Maintain organized case files and track deadlines in alignment with Central Time schedules

• Coordinate collection of estate assets, account statements, and required documentation

• Provide administrative and legal support to improve workflow efficiency and client experience

• Continuously improve work quality through feedback, coaching, and training


Required Qualifications

• Proven experience in US probate and/or trust administration law

• Strong experience in legal drafting (required), especially probate pleadings, fiduciary documents, and trust administration paperwork

• Prior experience as a legal assistant, paralegal, or legal virtual assistant in a law firm

• Excellent written English and strong legal writing skills

• High attention to detail and strong organizational ability

• Ability to follow instructions precisely and incorporate feedback effectively

• Must be based in the Philippines

• Ability to work aligned with US Central Time Zone (Missouri, USA)

• Professional, client-focused communication style
