Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
Salary: Starting rate at $80,000, could be higher depending on experience.

Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled Law Firm Administrator (PLA) to lead and manage the administrative and HR functions of our office. The ideal candidate will be a seasoned professional with proven leadership experience, high moral character, and a passion for creating a compassionate and efficient workplace. You will oversee all staff, including attorneys, and ensure that our operations run smoothly while upholding the firm’s values and mission.
Key Responsibilities:
Leadership & Strategic Planning
- Collaborate with the Owner on the Business Plan, Budget, and Strategic Calendar, with direct responsibility for staffing, systems, and facilities.
- Stay informed on trends and changes in the legal industry.
- Lead, supervise, coach, and train all non-attorney staff (marketing, finance, paralegals, assistants, and middle managers).
- Manage performance evaluations, discipline, promotions, and compensation plans.
- Oversee EOS-based business communication systems (weekly meetings, quarterly reviews, one-on-ones).
Human Resources & Team Management
- Oversee HR functions, ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations.
- Lead recruitment, onboarding, training, and performance management of non-attorney staff.
- Maintain organizational charts, personnel records, and HR policies.
- Administer payroll and benefits, liaising with vendors as needed.
- Resolve team conflicts, promote cohesion, and develop incentives/reward systems.
Operations & Process Management
- Drive creation, documentation, and optimization of key firm systems:
- Marketing, Sales, Case Intake, Workflow, Billing, Finance, HR, IT, Risk Management, Facilities.
- Audit and monitor workflows to ensure compliance, efficiency, and profitability.
- Implement solutions for process, technology, or personnel issues.
- Manage office procedures, block calendaring, and supply inventory.
Finance & Accounting
- Oversee billing, accounts receivable, collections, and cash flow (delegated to Controller if applicable).
- Review budgets, financial reports, and trends.
- Manage trust deposits, vendor payments, and financial systems.
- Recommend and oversee electronic billing and accounting processes.
Marketing & Sales
- Supervise marketing and sales teams in collaboration with the Owner.
- Ensure campaigns, lead tracking, and conversion metrics are monitored and optimized.
- Assess ROI of marketing initiatives and refine strategies.
- Oversee sales process, client retention, and follow-up systems.
Facilities & IT
- Supervise office management, facilities, and IT systems.
- Maintain disaster recovery protocols, furniture and equipment inventory, and operational tools.
- Ensure compliance with Bar requirements and continuing education for attorneys.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum 3–5 years of leadership experience in professional services or law firm administration.
- Strong knowledge of HR, finance, operational systems, and technology trends.
- Proven ability to supervise, train, and lead teams to meet KPIs and organizational goals.
- Familiarity with law office management software and operational best practices.
