Electrical Engineering Team Manager

ARCA is partnered with an innovative engineering organisation developing highly advanced industrial technology solutions for global applications. They’re now looking for an experienced Electrical Engineering Team Manager to lead a multidisciplinary electrical function delivering complex systems across R&D and customer projects.

This role would suit someone with a strong background in electrical systems design, instrumentation, control panels, and industrial automation who enjoys combining hands-on technical delivery with team leadership.

Key responsibilities include:

• Leading and developing an Electrical Engineering team
• Managing project resource allocation and technical delivery
• Defining electrical architectures and system designs
• Producing schematics, specifications, and manufacturing documentation
• Supporting integration, verification, and fault-finding activities
• Driving quality, compliance, and engineering best practice
• Supporting safety reviews including HAZOP, FMEA, SIL and LOPA activities

We’re keen to speak with engineers who have experience across:

• Electrical system design within industrial or complex engineering environments
• BS7671 and EN60204 compliant systems
• Functional safety / EN61511
• PLC systems (ideally Siemens)
• Instrumentation, controls, motors, transformers, and protection systems
• Leading or mentoring engineering teams
• ATEX or hazardous environments (desirable)
