Senior Test Engineer

About the Role:

Our client is an innovation-driven technology scale-up focused on developing electric motors and drive systems. We are seeking a talented and driven Senior Test Engineer to join their growing team. This role involves the testing and verification of electric motor components, managing test facilities and schedules, and ensuring compliance with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Define, manage, and operate test facilities and schedules for electric drive systems.
• Design test system architecture and test rigs to meet verification and validation requirements.
• Implement and verify NI LabVIEW code for automated testing, ensuring compliance with BSI-60034-1 standards.
• Process and analyse test data, ensuring accuracy and validity.
• Supervise and mentor test engineers, providing training and guidance.
• Conduct root cause analysis for test failures and system issues.
• Produce comprehensive technical reports for internal and external stakeholders.

Qualifications:

• BEng/BSc or equivalent in Electronics, Embedded, or Electro-Mechanical Engineering.
• Proven experience in testing electro-mechanical machines, ideally within the automotive sector.
• Proficiency in NI LabVIEW, MATLAB, and PXI Data Acquisition systems.
• Strong understanding of electronics measurement principles and data acquisition.
