Senior Pre-Sales Solutions Architect – Enterprise Networking

A leading technology solutions provider specializing in digital transformation, Cloud & Data Center, Cybersecurity, and AI is hiring a Senior / Lead Pre-Sales Solutions Architect (Enterprise Networking) to support enterprise customers across the Mountain time zone region.
This is a highly visible role supporting complex, multi-million-dollar enterprise architectures and strategic opportunities. The position offers a clear runway to grow into a player-coach or Regional Director–level role as the territory continues to expand.
Role:
You will serve as a trusted technical partner to Account Executives, owning technical strategy and pre-sales execution across a defined portfolio of enterprise accounts. The focus is on large-scale, mission-critical enterprise networking environments.
This role is primarily remote, with limited and occasional travel within the region for key customer meetings, presentations, or proofs of concept.
Responsibilities:
- Acting as the technical sales lead on enterprise opportunities, aligning internal and external resources
- Leading pre-sales engagements in collaboration with Solutions Architects and Post-Sales teams
- Designing architectures, proposals, and final technical solutions with engineering partners
- Engaging directly with customers to understand business drivers and technical requirements
- Producing and validating technical designs, architecture documentation, and solution frameworks
- Serving as design authority for strategic enterprise accounts
- Designing and supporting large-scale enterprise networking environments
- Advising customers on future-state technology direction, roadmaps, and services
- Partnering closely with OEMs to stay current on platforms, products, and strategy
- Managing demos and proofs of concept
- Supporting opportunities end-to-end, from pre-sales through execution handoff
Skills Sought:
- 7+ years designing and implementing enterprise networking solutions across multiple vendors
- 5+ years in a pre-sales or solutioning role
- Experience with platforms such as Cisco, Aruba, Juniper, Palo Alto, Fortinet, and similar OEMs
- Strong understanding of IT delivery methodologies
- Proven ability to build and maintain senior-level client relationships
- Deep experience designing complex, scalable networking architectures
- Ability to contribute to technical documentation, proposals, and solution business cases
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
Pluses:
- Relevant certifications (CCDE, CCIE, CCNP, PCSNE, JNCIE, Fortinet, Aruba, etc.)
- Prior team-lead or leadership experience within the VAR space
