Remote Senior Audit Associate | Top 75 CPA Firm

Location: Remote (U.S.-based)

Compensation: $80K - $105K + 10% annual bonus

Requirements: 2-5+ years of public accounting, audit, and healthcare client experience

 

One of the few fully independent Top 75 CPA & Advisory firms in the country, with 50+ years of steady growth and 800+ employees, is looking to add an experienced Audit Associate/Senior Audit Associate to their Healthcare group! They've built their reputation by putting their people and clients first, and their independent ownership gives them the flexibility to make long-term decisions without outside investors driving the business.


Their Healthcare practice is one of their core industry groups, working with hospitals and health systems, community health centers, medical and dental practices, senior living organizations, and other healthcare providers. The team provides a broad range of services, including audit, tax, outsourced accounting, reimbursement, revenue cycle, compliance, healthcare IT, analytics, and operational consulting.

What You’ll Do:

  • Lead audit engagements from planning through completion
  • Perform and review audit procedures, workpapers, and financial statements
  • Work directly with Healthcare clients on complex accounting matters
  • Identify issues and communicate findings and recommendations to clients
  • Build strong client relationships and serve as a trusted advisor
  • Collaborate with Tax and Advisory teams on client needs
  • Take on increasing responsibility with a clear path toward Manager


What We're Looking For:

  • 2-5+ years of Public Accounting & Audit Experience
  • Healthcare audit experience (at least 30-40% of current client workload)
  • Experience leading financial statement audit & review engagements
  • Strong understanding of GAAP and audit standards
  • Experience working directly with clients as a main POC
  • CPA preferred or actively pursuing
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related field
