Job Title: Senior Audit Associate (Non Profit)

Location: 100% Remote - Must be in the U.S.

Salary: 85,000-105,000+/Year

We are a highly respected public accounting firm in the Western New York area is seeking an experienced Senior Audit Associate with a strong interest in delivering high-quality client service. As an Audit Senior, you will play a key role in planning and executing audit engagements while mentoring junior staff and partnering closely with managers and leadership. This role offers meaningful client interaction, exposure to complex engagements, and opportunities for professional growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, lead, and execute audit engagements from start to finish
• Identify audit risks and recommend process improvements to clients
• Ensure compliance with applicable regulations, standards, and internal controls
• Examine and analyze financial records, reports, and supporting documentation
• Supervise, mentor, and review the work of audit staff
• Support Managers, Principals, and Partners across client engagements and special projects

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field
• CPA license preferred; CPA candidates actively pursuing licensure are encouraged to apply
• 3+ years of public accounting experience
• Audits, reviews, and compilations of financial statements
• Familiar with Form 990 and CHAR500
• Consolidated fiscal report certifications a plus
