CAS Supervisor / Manager | Fully Remote CPA Firms
100% Remote | Multiple Opportunities | Client Accounting Services
We’re partnered with several growing CPA and advisory firms that are looking to add experienced Client Accounting Services (CAS) Supervisors and Managers to their teams.
These are fully remote opportunities with firms ranging from boutique, high-touch advisory practices to larger growing CPA firms. While each position is a little different, they are all geared toward experienced accounting professionals who enjoy working directly with clients, reviewing and overseeing accounting work, and helping develop the people around them.
Depending on experience, opportunities are available at both the Supervisor and Manager level.
The Opportunities
These positions offer a combination of hands-on accounting knowledge, review responsibility, client management, and team leadership.
Responsibilities may include:
- Overseeing the monthly accounting and close process for a portfolio of clients
- Reviewing financial statements, general ledger activity, reconciliations, and supporting schedules
- Managing multiple client relationships and serving as a primary point of contact
- Reviewing the work of bookkeepers and staff accountants
- Mentoring and developing junior team members
- Ensuring client books are accurate, organized, and tax-ready
- Partnering with tax and advisory teams on year-end planning and client needs
- Identifying accounting issues and helping clients improve their financial processes
- Improving internal workflows, close procedures, documentation, and controls
- Supporting payroll processing, reconciliation, and payroll tax matters
- Providing higher-level accounting and advisory support as client relationships develop
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of accounting experience
- Experience within Client Accounting Services (CAS), outsourced accounting, bookkeeping, public accounting, or a family office environment
- Strong QuickBooks Online experience
- Solid understanding of month-end close, reconciliations, and financial reporting
- Experience managing multiple clients and competing deadlines
- Previous review and/or team leadership experience
- Strong client-facing communication skills
- Ability to work independently within a fully remote environment
Depending on the specific opportunity, experience with payroll, payroll tax notices, QuickBooks Desktop, Gusto, ADP, Bill.com, TaxDome, Excel, or Google Sheets may be preferred.
CPA licensure and QBO ProAdvisor certification are welcomed but are not required for every opportunity.
