Are you a strategic tax professional who thrives on advisory work and wants a clear path to leadership? We’re partnering with a fast-growing, cloud-based CPA firm that is expanding rapidly and looking to add a Tax Manager or Senior Tax Manager to their fully remote team.

With plans to grow revenue by 50%, this is a unique opportunity to step into a high-impact role, work directly alongside firm leadership, and help shape the future of the practice.

The Opportunity

This is more than a traditional tax role. You’ll act as a right-hand to the Partner, inheriting and managing a portion of their book of business while playing a key role in client strategy and firm growth.

The firm is built on modern, cloud-based systems and emphasizes tax advisory over compliance, giving you the chance to deliver real value to clients rather than just preparing returns.

What You’ll Do

• Serve as a trusted advisor to small business clients across diverse industries
• Lead tax planning and advisory engagements (primary focus)
• Review and oversee tax compliance work prepared by staff
• Manage and grow a portfolio of client relationships
• Collaborate directly with the Partner on high-level strategy and client decisions
• Identify tax-saving opportunities and proactive planning strategies
• Mentor and develop junior team members

Client Profile

• Privately held businesses across multiple industries
• Typical client size: $1M – $25M in annual revenue
• Entrepreneurial owners who value proactive tax strategy

What We’re Looking For

• CPA required
• 8+ years of public accounting experience (flexible based on level)
• Strong background in tax compliance, major plus if experience in advisory and planning
• Experience managing client relationships and delivering high-touch service
• Ability to operate independently in a fully remote environment
• Entrepreneurial mindset with interest in growth and leadership

Compensation & Benefits

• Base Salary: Up to $160,000 (commensurate with experience)
