Senior Data Center / Cloud Solutions Architect (Remote – Mountain Region)

Location: Remote (MST-Based Preferred | Up to 20% Travel)

Compensation: $170,000 – $250,000 + Full Benefits

We are hiring a Senior Data Center / Cloud Solutions Architect to support enterprise and global accounts in a high-impact, client-facing pre-sales capacity.

Position Overview

The Senior Data Center / Cloud Solutions Architect will be responsible for leading technical strategy and solution design across hybrid infrastructure and cloud initiatives within complex enterprise environments.

This is a pre-sales architecture role aligned to strategic sales teams — focused on shaping technical direction, leading discovery conversations, and designing integrated solutions that address modernization, scalability, performance, and resiliency requirements. You will be supported by a strong internal engineering and delivery organization capable of executing multi-site and multi-region deployments.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead technical discovery sessions focused on data center modernization and cloud strategy
• Design hybrid infrastructure solutions across compute, storage, virtualization, backup, and disaster recovery
• Architect public and hybrid cloud initiatives (AWS, Azure, multi-cloud environments)
• Develop integrated solutions spanning on-prem, hybrid, and cloud-connected architectures
• Partner closely with Account Executives and practice leaders on strategic enterprise pursuits
• Present and whiteboard complex technical solutions to client IT leadership teams
• Act as a trusted technical advisor throughout the sales cycle

What We Are Looking For

• 7+ years of experience in data center and/or cloud architecture
• Strong background across enterprise compute, storage, virtualization, and infrastructure design
• Experience architecting hybrid and public cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or multi-cloud)
• Prior experience in a VAR, systems integrator, MSP, or OEM environment preferred
• Proven ability to operate in a client-facing pre-sales capacity
• Comfortable leading technical discussions with senior IT stakeholders
• Strong understanding of modernization, migration, and transformation initiatives
