Tax Manager - Accounting & Business Management Firm

Hybrid Remote - Greater LA area - Up to $180k+

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Tax Manager in the greater LA area to join our team. This is not your typical CPA firm role. You’ll enjoy better balance, flexible hybrid schedules, and the opportunity to work directly with high-profile, HNW clients while focusing on meaningful advisory and planning work.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee preparation and review of complex tax returns for high-net-worth individuals, families, and businesses
• Lead client engagements and provide strategic tax planning and advisory services
• Collaborate with accounting, business management, and financial planning teams

What You'll Need

• 5+ years of tax experience within public accounting, business management or wealth management
• 2+ years of experience in a tax manager role
• CPA required (EA considered)
• Bachelor's in Accounting; Masters preferred
• Strong interpersonal & advisory skills - ability to act as a trusted client advisor
• Experience with HNW and Ultra HNW clients strongly preferred
• Based in the Greater LA area - able to work a flexible hybrid schedule (couple days in office)
