National Solutions Provider | Pre-Sales Architecture (Remote)

A well-established, multi-billion-dollar national technology solutions provider is seeking a Senior Solutions Architect focused on Enterprise Infrastructure – spanning Modern Data Center, Enterprise Networking, Hybrid Cloud, and AI-ready architectures.

This is a client-facing pre-sales role supporting strategic commercial and enterprise pursuits across multiple U.S. regions. The architect will partner closely with Account Managers to lead technical strategy, run discovery sessions, and design scalable infrastructure solutions aligned to evolving business objectives.

This position blends Modern Data Center depth with strong enterprise networking expertise, supporting infrastructure modernization initiatives end-to-end.

What This Role Covers

Infrastructure modernization initiatives including:

• Compute platforms (Dell, HPE, Cisco UCS)
• Enterprise storage (Pure, Dell, HPE)
• Hyperconverged infrastructure (Nutanix, VxRail, SimpliVity)
• Virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V)
• Backup, disaster recovery, resiliency design
• Enterprise networking (Cisco, Arista, HPE Aruba, etc.)
• Data center networking architectures
• SD-WAN, segmentation, and performance optimization
• Hybrid cloud integration (AWS, Azure)
• AI-ready infrastructure including GPU-enabled compute, high-performance storage, and high-throughput networking fabrics

While public cloud is part of the conversation, the primary focus is modernizing core enterprise environments and preparing clients for data-intensive and performance-sensitive workloads.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead pre-sales architecture across enterprise infrastructure initiatives
• Run discovery sessions and whiteboard workshops with IT leadership
• Design scalable, resilient architectures aligned to business objectives
• Architect both compute/storage and networking components of enterprise environments
• Support environments requiring high-performance and AI-ready design considerations
• Develop scopes of work, bills of materials, and technical documentation
• Partner with OEM field teams and internal engineering resources on strategic pursuits
• Support client-facing engagements across assigned territories

Skills & Experience Sought

• 7–10+ years in technical pre-sales, solutions architecture, or infrastructure consulting
• Strong experience across both data center infrastructure and enterprise networking
• Background with major OEM ecosystems (Dell, HPE, Cisco, Nutanix, Pure, VMware, etc.)
• Experience with core routing/switching and data center networking design
• Familiarity with GPU-enabled infrastructure or AI/ML-ready environments is a plus
• Working knowledge of AWS and/or Azure in hybrid architectures
• Strong client-facing presence with ability to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions
• Comfortable operating with autonomy in a national, remote-first environment
