Position Overview

We’re looking for a skilled and motivated Tax Manager or Senior Tax Manager to join our growing team. This is a full-time, fully remote role (Central Time Zone preferred for collaboration). You’ll be responsible for managing client engagements, reviewing complex tax returns, supervising staff and contributing to the development of junior team members.

What You’ll Do

• Review and prepare federal and state tax returns for individuals, partnerships, corporations, and trusts
• Provide strategic tax planning and compliance services to a wide range of clients
• Lead engagements and manage client relationships with a focus on quality and timely delivery
• Mentor, train, and supervise tax staff and seniors
• Identify tax opportunities and proactively work with clients on recommendations
• Stay current with federal, state, and local tax regulations and industry trends

What We’re Looking For

• CPA license (active) required
• 5+ years of recent public accounting experience
• Strong technical tax knowledge and experience with complex returns
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to build trusted client relationships
• Proven leadership experience managing projects and developing junior staff
• Comfortable working in a remote environment with excellent time management skills
