Tax Manager | Fully Remote (MST or PST Time Zones) | Up to $175K Base + Bonus

The tax practice works with high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth individuals, family offices, closely held businesses, real estate groups, professional services firms, and other complex client structures. This is a Tax Manager opportunity for someone who wants to build a long-term career with a legitimate path toward Senior Manager and Partner.

Responsibilities include:
- Managing and reviewing complex federal and state tax engagements
- Developing tax planning strategies for individuals and closely held businesses
- Advising clients on tax implications related to investments, transactions, wealth planning, and business decisions
- Reviewing tax returns, workpapers, and other engagement deliverables
- Working directly with Partners and senior leadership on complex client matters
- Managing client relationships and serving as a primary point of contact
- Mentoring and developing Tax Seniors and Staff
- Identifying opportunities to expand client relationships and introduce additional firm services
- Participating in business development and networking activities
- Staying current on federal and state tax legislation and regulatory developments
Qualifications
- Active CPA, EA, JD, or LLM
- 5+ years of progressive public accounting tax experience
- Strong federal and state tax compliance and planning experience
- Experience managing multiple complex tax engagements
- Strong client relationship and communication skills
- Demonstrated leadership and staff development experience
- Strong organizational and project management abilities
- Consistent career progression with increasing responsibility
Preferred Experience
- High-net-worth or ultra-high-net-worth individual taxation
- Clients with $50M–$100M+ in net worth
- Family office and fiduciary taxation
- Trust and estate-related tax matters
- Complex partnership taxation
