Job Title: Tax Senior OR Tax Manager – Indirect Tax/Sales & Use Tax (Fully Remote)

Location: 100% Remote (U.S.-based)

We are a rapidly growing professional services firm with a strong global presence, specializing in Specialty Tax Incentives Consulting. Our team partners with middle-market and large enterprises to identify, optimize, and defend complex tax incentive opportunities.


As we continue to expand, we are building out our Sales & Use Tax / Indirect Tax division and seeking a strategic, technically strong Tax Senior OR Tax Manager who is ready to make an immediate impact—and quickly grow into a senior leadership role.


Key Responsibilities

Technical & Client Leadership

  • Lead complex Sales & Use Tax consulting engagements across multi-state and global jurisdictions
  • Advise clients on indirect tax planning, nexus analysis, taxability determinations, and audit defense
  • Review technical analyses and ensure high-quality, defensible work product
  • Serve as the firm’s subject matter expert in Sales & Use Tax
  • Monitor legislative and regulatory developments and guide firm strategy accordingly


Qualifications

  • CPA, MST, JD, or equivalent advanced tax credential preferred
  • 5+ years of experience in Sales & Use Tax / Indirect Tax consulting
  • Experience in a professional services or public accounting environment
  • Strong knowledge of multi-state indirect tax regulations
  • Proven ability to manage complex client engagements
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with leadership ambition
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Compensation

  • Salary upwards of $130K (DOE)
