Director of AI & Automation (Remote)

A national real estate developer with a strong track record of delivering projects across the country is advancing its use of technology, automation, and data driven tools to improve efficiency and unlock smarter decision making. This role will play a central part in shaping how the organization adopts and applies these capabilities to support long term growth.

The Role

You will lead the development and execution of technology initiatives across the organization. This includes building custom tools, implementing AI-driven solutions, integrating data systems, and overseeing IT operations. The position offers the opportunity to apply both technical expertise and strategic vision to create meaningful impact within a national real estate platform.

This is a fully remote role, offering flexibility while collaborating with teams across the U.S.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and drive the company’s technology and automation roadmap across multiple business units.
• Build custom tools and applications using Python, JavaScript, and other relevant languages.
• Design and deploy workflows powered by AI and automation to streamline reporting and operational processes.
• Create and maintain data pipelines, models, and architecture to consolidate insights from multiple sources.
• Oversee dashboards and BI solutions for internal and external reporting.
• Manage IT operations including infrastructure, security, user support, and vendor relationships.
• Champion technology adoption and education across departments.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in IT, automation, or data focused roles.
• Hands on experience with AI/LLM tools, data engineering, or enterprise IT systems.
• Proficiency in Python, SQL, cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP), and BI tools.
• Strong communicator who can bridge technical and business needs.
• Construction or real estate familiarity is a strong plus but not required.
