The Role
As a Senior Tax Associate or Tax Supervisor, you will play a key role in preparing and reviewing tax engagements, supporting client relationships, and mentoring junior staff members.
You’ll work closely with managers and partners while gaining exposure to a broad range of clients and increasing responsibility as you continue to grow within the firm.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and review complex individual, corporate, partnership, and fiduciary tax returns
- Work closely with clients to provide responsive, high-quality service
- Research tax issues and assist with tax planning strategies
- Mentor and support associates and staff accountants
- Collaborate with managers and partners on client engagements and deliverables
- Manage multiple engagements and deadlines effectively
- Identify opportunities to improve processes and add value to clients
- Contribute to a positive, collaborative team environment
What We’re Looking For
- 3+ years of public accounting tax experience
- CPA or CPA-track preferred
- Experience preparing and reviewing tax returns for a variety of entity types
- Strong communication and client relationship skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment
- Desire to grow long-term within a highly respected regional firm
- Team-oriented mindset with strong attention to detail
