$130K–$170K+ DOE + Performance Bonus


A well-established, fully remote CPA firm is seeking a Tax Manager to join its growing team.


The firm has built a strong operational foundation and is looking to add an experienced Tax Manager who can step into a client-facing review role within an already well-functioning environment.


Leadership has invested heavily in support staff, workflows, and cloud-based systems, allowing managers to stay focused on review work, client relationships, and team oversight instead of getting buried in administrative issues or constant fire drills.


This role is ideal for someone who enjoys managing a book of business, reviewing returns, mentoring staff, and operating independently in a structured remote environment.



About the Role

You’ll manage an established group of individual and business clients while overseeing review responsibilities across a variety of return types. The support team handles much of the preparation and administrative workflow, allowing you to focus primarily on review, delivery, and client communication.


The client base includes closely held businesses, business owners, and high-net-worth individuals across a variety of industries.


Key Responsibilities

  • Review complex individual and entity tax returns including 1040s, 1065s, and 1120S
  • Manage client relationships from delivery through follow-up and ongoing communication
  • Serve as a resource for Tax Seniors and junior staff
  • Oversee workflow and ensure deadlines are met during busy season
  • Review a high volume of returns efficiently while maintaining strong quality standards
  • Work closely with firm leadership on process improvement and team collaboration


What They’re Looking For

  • 5+ years of public accounting tax experience
  • Strong review experience across individual and business returns
  • Comfortable managing client relationships independently
  • Experience mentoring or guiding staff
  • CPA preferred but not required
  • Estate, Gift & Trust exposure is a plus

Compensation

$130K–$170K+ DOE, plus performance bonus

Fully remote within the U.S.
