Remote Tax Manager | Independent CPA Firm | Partner Track | Up to $175k + Equity

Location: 100% Remote (United States)

Compensation: Up to $175,000+ base + K-1 equity from day one + 10–15% performance bonus

Requirements: 5–7+ years public accounting tax experience | CPA or EA required

We are hiring a Tax Manager to join a growing remote tax practice. The Work

Our client base is varied, sophisticated, and genuinely interesting — closely held businesses, high-net-worth individuals, trusts and estates, real estate, pass-through entities, and companies with revenues spanning the tens to hundreds of millions. You will do real advisory and planning work year-round — not just compliance during tax season. Outside of busy season, the work shifts to proactive planning, client strategy, and business development alongside partners who are invested in your growth.


What We Are Looking For

  • Active CPA or EA required
  • 5–7+ years of public accounting tax experience
  • Strong generalist foundation — individual, pass-through, partnership, trust, estate, and business entity taxation
  • HNW or trust and estate experience a strong plus
  • Experience managing client relationships and reviewing the work of tax staff
  • Self-directed, entrepreneurial, and comfortable working autonomously in a remote environment
  • Someone who genuinely wants to build a career — not just fill a seat
