Senior Security Solutions Architect

We are a growing technology solutions provider focused on delivering modern cybersecurity, cloud, and infrastructure solutions to mid-market and enterprise clients across the U.S. Our team partners with leading security vendors including Palo Alto Networks, Fortinet, Cisco, Microsoft, AWS, and other established technology partners to help organizations strengthen their security posture and modernize their environments.

As we continue to expand our security practice, we are hiring a Senior Security Solutions Architect to serve as the technical lead throughout the sales cycle. This is a highly client-facing role focused on solution strategy, architecture design, and technical alignment.

This is a remote position supporting clients across the Mountain region, with approximately 20–30% travel to customer sites as needed.

Position Overview

The Senior Security Solutions Architect will lead security discovery engagements and serve as the technical subject matter expert throughout the pre-sales cycle. This role is responsible for designing integrated security architectures across multiple domains, helping customers assess risk, define strategy, and modernize their environments.

You will collaborate closely with Account Executives and security practice leaders to qualify opportunities, shape solution direction, and position comprehensive security solutions aligned to business objectives.

As a senior member of the organization, you will act as a trusted advisor to clients, provide guidance on complex design scenarios, and support the development of engineering team members.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead technical discovery sessions to assess customer environments, risks, and business objectives
• Design and architect cybersecurity solutions across network security, cloud security, identity, Zero Trust, SASE, endpoint protection, and threat detection
• Develop high-level and detailed architecture diagrams, solution designs, BOMs, and scopes of work
• Deliver technical presentations, workshops, and whiteboard sessions to executive and technical stakeholders
• Align vendor technologies to customer requirements and solution strategy
• Partner closely with sales teams to support pipeline growth and drive technical wins
• Stay current on evolving threat landscapes, security frameworks, and vendor advancements

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in cybersecurity architecture, security engineering, or pre-sales consulting (VAR, MSSP, or systems integrator experience strongly preferred)
• Hands-on experience with leading security platforms such as Palo Alto Networks, Fortinet, Cisco Security, Microsoft Security, Zscaler, and/or AWS/Azure security tools
• Strong background in cloud security architecture (AWS and/or Azure)
• Deep understanding of Zero Trust principles, identity security, segmentation, and modern network security frameworks
• Ability to translate business needs into scalable technical designs
• Strong presentation and communication skills in customer-facing environments
• Relevant certifications (CCNP Security, PCNSE, FCSS, CISSP, Microsoft Security, etc.) are a plus
