Remote Tax Manager / Senior Tax Manager – Business Owners, Entities & Private Clients

Compensation: $130,000 – $170,000+


We’re a growing, relationship-driven CPA firm built around technical depth, meaningful client work, and a genuine respect for balance. As we expand nationally, we’re looking for an experienced Tax Manager or Senior Tax Manager to join our team — someone who thrives on advising successful business owners, closely held companies, and multi-entity family groups on the full spectrum of tax strategy and compliance.


This is a fully remote role with long-term growth potential, direct client impact, and a seat at the table as the firm continues to scale.



What You’ll Do

  • Manage and review a sophisticated portfolio of returns (1065, 1120S, 1120, 1040, 1041) for business owners and their entities
  • Lead client strategy conversations on structuring, ownership transitions, generational wealth planning, and multi-state issues
  • Provide proactive tax planning and advisory services beyond compliance
  • Support, mentor, and develop junior team members while contributing to a collaborative, high-performance culture
  • Partner closely with firm leadership on strategic initiatives and client growth opportunities


What We’re Looking For

  • 5–10+ years of public accounting experience with a focus on business owners, pass-through entities, and private clients
  • Strong technical background with multi-entity structures, owner-level returns, investments, and wealth transfer planning
  • Excellent communicator and trusted advisor who builds lasting client relationships
  • Comfortable working fully remote in a paperless, high-accountability environment
  • CPA or EA required (MST, LLM, or CFP® a plus)
