Location: 100% Remote (United States)

Compensation: Up to $160,000 base + $10,000 sign-on bonus + performance bonus

We are hiring a Tax Manager to join a growing practice — real client ownership, real advisory work, and a clear path to Senior Manager and Director for the right person.

What You Will Do

• Review and manage S-corp, partnership, and individual tax returns for a portfolio of small business clients under $10M in revenue
• Serve as a primary client contact — advising business owners directly on tax planning, entity structure, and compliance matters
• Supervise and develop senior associates and staff
• Identify proactive planning opportunities and communicate them clearly to clients and partners
• Collaborate directly with Partners on client strategy, firm growth, and practice development
• Contribute to the firm's culture, technology adoption, and operational improvement initiatives

What We Are Looking For

• Active CPA or EA required
• 5+ years of public accounting tax experience
• Small business focus required — clients under $10M in revenue; no large C-corp backgrounds
• Strong technical foundation in S-corps, partnerships, and individual returns
• UltraTax experience strongly preferred
• Client-facing advisory experience — you are comfortable owning the relationship, not just reviewing the work
• Entrepreneurial mindset — you want to build something, not just maintain it
• Self-directed and comfortable working fully remote
