Compensation: Up to $140,000 base + performance bonus

The Role:
As a Manager in Indirect Tax (Sales & Use), you'll lead client engagements across a sophisticated national client base while working 100% remotely. This is consulting-driven work — advisory-focused, client-facing, and built for a Manager ready to take meaningful ownership of complex engagements and grow within a specialty-tax platform that is scaling aggressively. And unlike most roles at this level, the 40-hour work week is real here — year-round.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead Sales & Use tax consulting engagements across a diverse national client base
- Manage multi-state indirect tax compliance, research, and planning projects
- Handle VDAs, refund claims, and audit defense on behalf of clients
- Serve as a primary client contact, delivering high-quality advisory services and building lasting relationships
- Collaborate across service lines including SALT incentives, R&D, cost segregation, and energy credits
- Mentor and develop junior team members as the practice continues to grow
- Support business development efforts and contribute to firm growth initiatives
What You're Looking For:
- Significant experience with Sales & Use tax, ideally across a broad range of states
- Strong consulting and advisory background — not purely compliance-focused
- Demonstrated client-facing experience at the Senior Manager level
- Experience with VDAs and refund claims is a strong plus
- Comfortable working across a wide industry mix — manufacturing, real estate, construction, retail, tech, telecom, PE-backed companies, and more

Total Compensation Package:
