Tax Manager / Senior Tax Manager / Tax Director (REMOTE) | Advisory-Focused CPA Firm
$135K–$180K+ DOE, plus performance bonus
A growing, fully remote CPA firm is adding a senior-level tax professional to deepen its review and advisory capabilities.
This is a proactive hire - not driven by turnover or capacity strain. The firm is continuing to scale and is intentionally adding experienced talent to elevate review quality, strengthen client relationships, and create better leverage across the team.
The role is built to be flexible - a fit for a Tax Manager or Senior Tax Manager stepping into more influence, or a Tax Director who wants to stay hands-on with technical work and client advisory without getting pulled into internal politics.
Role
- High-level review of complex individual and flow-through returns
- Planning and advisory support for entrepreneurs, multi-entity groups, and HNW clients
- Serve as a senior escalation point for managers and seniors
- Limited prep work - heavily review- and guidance-focused
- Direct collaboration with leadership on client strategy and workflow refinement

What They’re Looking For
- 7+ years in public accounting
- Strong reviewer across 1040s, 1065s, 1120S (Estate, Gift & Trust experience a plus)
- Comfortable advising clients and mentoring at the Tax Senior, Supervisor, and Manager level
- CPA preferred
Compensation
$135K–$180K+ DOE, plus performance bonus
