Senior Tax Manager (In-Office) – Fast Track to Partner

Salary: Up to $220K + Clear Path to Partnership (12 Months)

We’re hiring a Senior Tax Manager to step into a true leadership role—running the tax department and acting as the firm’s #2. This is not a “wait your turn” position. The expectation is simple: deliver, lead, and step into Partner within a year.

This role is intentionally fully in-office because of the visibility, leadership access, and hands-on involvement required to accelerate that timeline.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Lead and manage the entire tax department (people, process, and clients)
• Review and oversee a mix of individual, corporate, and pass-through returns
• Act as the final reviewer and technical resource for complex tax matters
• Build strong relationships with high-value clients
• Mentor and develop staff while improving workflow and efficiency
• Partner with firm leadership on growth strategy and operations

What We’re Looking For

• CPA or EA required
• 8–12+ years of public accounting tax experience
• Strong generalist background (1040s, partnerships, S-Corps, C-Corps)
• Proven leadership experience managing teams and client relationships
• Someone who wants ownership, not just a title
