About the Opportunity

A boutique, tech-forward public accounting firm is seeking a fully remote Tax Manager or Senior Tax Manager with deep experience serving high-net-worth individuals, family investment groups, and complex real estate portfolios. This role is built for someone who thrives in a high-trust, relationship-driven environment and enjoys navigating multi-entity structures, flow-through taxation, and sophisticated planning.

You’ll work directly with successful entrepreneurs, investors, and multi-generational families who expect precision, insight, and proactive guidance across their business and personal holdings.

What You’ll Do

• Lead and review complex flow-through returns (Partnerships, S Corps) tied to real estate portfolios, family investment entities, and closely held businesses.
• Oversee HNW and UHNW individual returns, including K-1 integration, investment activity, multi-state issues, and planning considerations.
• Manage compliance and advisory for multi-tier real estate structures, including operating companies, holding companies, joint ventures, syndications, 1031 exchanges, and cost-segmentation-driven strategies.
• Develop and execute annual and long-term tax planning for clients with evolving real estate, investment, and wealth-transfer goals.
• Serve as a trusted advisor and primary point of contact, delivering strategic guidance across their full financial picture.
• Mentor staff and help strengthen internal processes within a modern, paperless, cloud-based environment.

What You Bring

• CPA required.
• 7–12+ years of public accounting experience with a strong emphasis on:
• Real estate taxation
• HNW/UHNW individual work
• Flow-through entities and multi-entity structures
• Experience navigating complex partnership allocations, capital accounts, basis issues, and multi-state exposure.
• Proven ability to review high-volume, high-complexity work while maintaining accuracy and thoughtful client service.
• Comfort working fully remote and collaborating closely through modern systems and tools.
