The Opportunity

We’re looking for an Audit Manager who is passionate about nonprofit work and excited to play a key role in a growing practice. This role offers true ownership—managing client relationships, mentoring staff, and contributing to the continued evolution of a firm that values both excellence and balance.

What You’ll Do

• Manage and lead nonprofit audit engagements from planning through issuance
• Serve as a trusted advisor to nonprofit clients, including boards and executive leadership
• Review audit workpapers and financial statements for quality and compliance
• Mentor and develop staff and senior auditors in a supportive, remote environment
• Collaborate with firm leadership on process improvements and growth initiatives
• Travel occasionally to client sites when in-person presence adds value

What We’re Looking For

• CPA preferred
• 3+ years of public accounting experience
• Prior experience managing audits and supervising teams
• Strong knowledge of nonprofit accounting standards and compliance requirements
• Excellent communication skills and a client-service mindset
• Comfort working in a fully remote environment with a high degree of autonomy
