Remote Senior Tax Manager/Tax Director

Location: Fully remote - candidates MUST reside in the United States

Compensation: $150K-$260K+ base + bonus

We are a Top 100 accounting and advisory firm that is looking to hire a Senior Tax Manager or Tax Director due to significant growth. This role offers a blend of technical tax work, client advisory services, team leadership, and practice development. The ideal candidate enjoys working directly with business owners and decision-makers while helping develop the next generation of tax professionals.

Requirements:

• CPA or EA
• 7+ years of public accounting tax experience
• Experience managing client relationships and reviewing returns
• Leadership or people management experience preferred

Responsibilities:

• Review complex business and individual tax returns
• Provide tax planning and advisory services to a diverse client base
• Serve as primary point of contact for clients and build long-term relationships
• Mentor, develop, and review the work of tax staff and managers
• Identify opportunities to expand client relationships and provide additional value through advisory services
• Collaborate with firm leadership on practice growth initiatives and strategic planning

We are actively hiring at multiple levels within our tax practice and are open to speaking with experienced Tax Managers, Senior Tax Managers, and Tax Directors. The exact title and compensation will depend on experience, technical expertise, leadership background, and client management experience.
