💰 Compensation: $140,000-$150,000 base + 10-15% annual bonus

The Role:

As Tax Manager, you'll lead high-complexity tax engagements for clients with $5M+ net worth while developing the next generation of tax professionals. You'll balance hands-on technical work with team leadership and client relationship management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and review sophisticated individual, trust, and business tax returns for ultra-HNW clients
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to senior associates and staff
• Partner with wealth advisors on proactive tax planning and wealth transfer strategies
• Lead client meetings and communicate complex tax concepts to non-tax professionals
• Drive tax planning initiatives during non-peak periods (genuine advisory work, not busywork)
• Support business development through thought leadership and client presentations

What You Bring:

• 5+ years public accounting or private wealth tax experience (Big 4, national, or RIA background)
• 1-2 years managing, supervising, or leading tax professionals
• Active CPA or EA license (required)
• Deep expertise in individual, trust, partnership, and S-Corp taxation
• Experience with CCH Axcess Tax and SurePrep (preferred)
• Demonstrated ability to explain technical concepts clearly to clients and advisors
• High-net-worth client experience strongly preferred
