What You’ll Do
As a Tax Manager, you’ll play a key role in managing client relationships and overseeing tax engagements across a variety of industries. Responsibilities include:
- Managing, reviewing, and completing complex federal and multi-state tax returns for individuals, partnerships, S corps, and C corps
- Advising clients on tax planning, compliance strategies, and emerging tax law changes
- Overseeing and mentoring staff, seniors, and supervisors to support their technical development and leadership skills
- Serving as a primary point of contact for clients; building strong, long-term relationships
- Collaborating with partners on engagement planning, budgeting, and workflow management
- Contributing to internal process improvements and helping shape the future of the tax department
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field; Master’s in Taxation a plus
- CPA OR EA license
- 5+ years of progressive experience in public accounting
- Strong review skills and the ability to manage multiple complex engagements
- Excellent communicator with a client-service mindset
- A proactive leader who enjoys mentoring and developing others
- Comfortable working in a remote, technology-forward environment
