We are a rapidly growing, cloud-based virtual CPA firm seeking a Senior Tax Manager or Tax Director to join our leadership team. This is a fully remote opportunity for a high-performing tax professional who enjoys being both a player and a coach—someone who can lead complex client engagements while helping build the processes, structure, and organization that support continued growth.

Approximately 75% of our client base is in the healthcare industry, including medical practices, physician groups, dentists, specialists, and other healthcare-related businesses.

What You'll Do
- Manage and review complex tax returns for businesses, partnerships, S corporations, individuals, and related entities
- Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, providing proactive tax planning and strategic guidance
- Lead client relationships and act as the primary point of contact for key accounts
- Mentor, develop, and support tax staff and managers
- Create structure, improve workflows, and implement scalable processes across the tax department
- Identify opportunities for automation, efficiency, and technology adoption
- Collaborate with firm leadership on capacity planning, quality control, and operational initiatives
- Help drive a culture of accountability, excellence, and continuous improvement
- Stay current on tax law developments and communicate planning opportunities to clients and team members
What We're Looking For
Required Qualifications
- 8+ years of public accounting tax experience
- Strong experience reviewing complex tax returns and providing tax planning services
- Experience managing client relationships and leading teams
- Excellent communication and project management skills
- Ability to thrive in a fully remote, technology-driven environment
Preferred Qualifications
- CPA or EA designation
- Healthcare industry tax experience
- Experience with UltraTax
- Strong proficiency in QuickBooks Online
- Experience working in a fully cloud-based accounting environment
- Prior experience helping implement systems, processes, and operational improvements

Compensation & Benefits
- Base Salary: Up to $225,000
