Now Hiring: Director of Construction/Owner's Rep - Multifamily Development
Location: Remote (U.S.-based) - (Remote flexible - Would require 2-3 days in Missouri every other week)

We are seeking an experienced Director of Construction to lead and oversee all aspects of construction across our portfolio of multifamily projects. This is a remote leadership role with travel to Missouri and project sites as needed.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the full construction lifecycle for multifamily developments from pre-construction through closeout
- Direct and manage general contractors, consultants, and vendors to ensure timely, on-budget delivery
- Review and evaluate project scopes, budgets, schedules, and construction documents
- Collaborate with internal teams including Development, Design, and Asset Management
- Lead project meetings, site visits, and provide hands-on problem-solving for construction challenges
- Ensure adherence to quality standards, safety regulations, and permitting requirements
- Provide strategic input on construction methods, value engineering, and cost control
- Build and mentor a high-performing construction team as we grow
Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in construction management, with at least 5 years focused on multifamily projects
- Proven track record managing multiple ground-up multifamily developments (100+ units) simultaneously
- Strong knowledge of construction best practices, building codes, and project delivery methods
- Experience working with third-party GCs and managing RFP/bidding processes
- Excellent leadership, negotiation, and communication skills
- Comfortable working in a remote, fast-paced, and entrepreneurial environment
- Willingness to travel periodically to job sites as required
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field preferred
