Position Overview:

We’re seeking a Network Engineer with CCNP level expertise to join the technical team supporting clients throughout the country. This is a hands-on engineering & support role covering advanced networking, wireless infrastructure, and security solutions in a managed services environment. You'll be instrumental in designing, implementing, and troubleshooting solutions across multi-vendor environments and interfacing directly with clients in a managed service capacity.

Key Responsibilities:

• Suport & troubleshoot enterprise-grade network infrastructure, including LAN/WAN, routing, switching, and wireless systems.
• Implement and support next-generation security technologies (firewalls, VPNs, NAC, IDS/IPS).
• Perform network assessments, health checks, and technical documentation.
• Lead troubleshooting efforts and act as an escalation point for complex technical issues.
• Stay up to date on industry trends, OEM certifications, and best practices.

Required Qualifications:

• 5+ years of hands-on experience as a Network Engineer in customer-facing, managed services or consulting environments.
• Active CCNP  (Routing & Switching, Enterprise Infrastructure, Wireless or Security) strongly preferred.
• Expertise with Cisco networking technologies (Catalyst, Nexus, Meraki, ASA/FTD), as well as other major platforms (e.g., Palo Alto, Aruba, Fortinet).
• Experience with wireless solutions (site surveys, controller-based deployments, troubleshooting).
• Solid understanding of Layer 2/3 protocols, BGP, OSPF, VLANs, VPNs, etc.
• Proficient in security design, firewall rules, segmentation, and zero-trust architecture.
• Excellent communication skills; ability to engage directly with business and technical stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience working at or with a VAR, MSP, or Systems Integrator.
• Exposure to cloud networking or SD-WAN (Cisco Viptela, Meraki SD-WAN, Fortinet, etc.).
• Experience with network automation and scripting is a plus.
