Senior Tax Manager / Tax Director (REMOTE)
$165K-$215K Base + Bonus
We're partnering with several growing CPA firms that are looking to add experienced Tax Leaders to their teams.
These opportunities are ideal for Senior Managers, Directors, and experienced Tax Managers who enjoy serving as trusted advisors to clients while also helping lead and develop high-performing tax teams.
While each firm is different, the common theme is a strong emphasis on technical tax expertise, client relationships, and leadership. These are not roles where you'll spend your days buried solely in preparation work. Instead, you'll serve as a key resource for both clients and staff while helping drive the overall success of the tax practice.
What You'll Be Doing
- Review complex individual, partnership, S-Corporation, and corporate tax returns
- Provide tax planning and consulting services to closely held businesses and high-net-worth individuals
- Serve as a trusted advisor to business owners on tax strategy and planning opportunities
- Mentor and develop Tax Seniors, Supervisors, and Managers
- Assist with complex technical research and resolution of tax issues
- Support client relationship management and help maintain a high level of client service
- Collaborate with firm leadership on departmental initiatives and growth objectives
What We're Looking For
- 8-12+ years of public accounting tax experience
- Strong technical background in flow-through entities and individual taxation
- Prior experience reviewing returns and managing client engagements
- Experience leading or mentoring staff within a public accounting environment
- CPA preferred
- Strong communication and client-facing skills
- Ability to thrive in a fully remote environment
Compensation & Benefits
- $165K-$215K+ base salary depending on experience
