CAS Manager (Remote)

Client Accounting Services | Fully Remote | Boutique CPA & Advisory Firm

Location: Fully Remote (U.S. Based)

Compensation: $85,000-$105,000 Base + Bonus + Full Benefits

We are working with a growing boutique CPA and advisory firm that is seeking an experienced Client Accounting Services (CAS) Manager to join their fully remote team. The firm supports privately held businesses, entrepreneurs, professional service firms, and business owners nationwide, combining a high-touch advisory approach with modern cloud-based technology. Their collaborative, fully remote environment allows team members to build long-term client relationships while serving as trusted advisors to their clients.

This opportunity is ideal for someone who enjoys working directly with clients, leading a team, and serving as a trusted accounting advisor rather than focusing solely on transactional accounting work. You'll manage client relationships from month-end close through financial reporting while partnering with business owners to help them better understand the financial side of their business, all within a collaborative, modern, cloud-based CPA firm.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage a portfolio of client accounting engagements from month-end close through financial reporting
• Review financial statements and accounting work to ensure accuracy and quality
• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing ongoing accounting guidance and advisory support
• Partner with business owners on financial reporting, budgeting, cash flow, and other accounting-related matters
• Lead, mentor, and develop members of the CAS team
• Utilize QuickBooks Online and other cloud-based accounting platforms to support client engagements
• Collaborate closely with internal team members to deliver a high level of client service

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of Client Accounting Services (CAS), outsourced accounting, or public accounting experience
• Experience managing multiple client relationships in a CAS or outsourced accounting environment
• Strong background in full-cycle accounting and month-end close
• Previous leadership or supervisory experience
• QuickBooks Online experience required
• Strong client communication and relationship management skills
• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
• CPA preferred, but not required
• Previous remote work experience
