What You'll Do:

• Lead and review complex state and local income/franchise, and sales & use engagements for multi-state businesses across a range of industries
• Oversee SALT provision and compliance matters, including state effective tax rate analysis and audit defense support
• Identify and implement tax planning strategies related to entity structuring, mergers, acquisitions, and business expansions
• Stay up-to-date on regulations and SALT laws
• Mentor staff and senior associates

What We're Looking For:

• 8-10+ years of progressive experience in SALT within public accounting
• Deep technical expertise related to multi-state income and sales & use taxation
• Strong understanding of nexus standards and state conformity rules
• Previous experience managing teams and leading complex client engagements
• Active CPA + Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related
