Job Title: Lead Tax Manager

Role Summary: Be the Lead Tax Manager / Tax Advisor for our small business clientele for tax planning & compliance matters

Compensation: Up to $160k + full benefits & remote

Target Start Date: Post 4.15.26

We're a privately owned virtual accounting firm that works with small business owners & high income individual earners to manage their accounting needs & tax returns. A growing 15+ employee firm where we've fully embraced the remote environment since covid & thriving.

Our clientele are businesses ranging up to $25 million in annual revenue & the handling the individual returns for the owners. Our clients range are traditional flow through entities & partnerships.

Our high profile clients are currently handled by the owner & founder of the firm, but looking for someone to take over this position, so he can focus more on the growth of the business

Responsibilities

• Be the lead tax professional for both tax compliance & advisory for high profile/VIP clientele
• Comfortable & confident to manage direct client relationships throughout the year
• Willing to roll up the sleeves when necessary to complete compliance work (if necessary)

Qualifications

• CPA licensed
• 8+ years of public accounting experience
• Ideally 3+ years at Tax Manager level
• Like working both compliance & advisory tax work

• Base salary up to $160k
