Tax Manager — Fully Remote
We’re hiring multiple Tax Managers for fully remote roles supporting established client bases. These openings are across firms with stable teams, real processes, and leadership that understands busy season realities.
This is a strong fit for Tax Managers who want to stay in their lane, do good work, and avoid unnecessary chaos.
Available Focus Areas
- Generalist (flow-through heavy)
- Pass-Through / Partnership-focused
- HNW / Complex Individual
You won’t be forced into a specialty that doesn’t align with your background.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Review and prepare complex tax returns (1040s, 1065s, 1120-S; some C-Corp depending on role)
- Manage client relationships and act as a primary point of contact
- Provide technical guidance to seniors and staff
- Balance prep and review work depending on engagement needs
- Work with established clients — not cleanup projects or emergency coverage

What We’re Looking For
- 5+ years of public accounting tax experience
- Experience as a Tax Manager or strong Tax Senior ready for the next step
- Background in one or more of the focus areas above
- Comfortable owning client relationships
- Experience with common tax software platforms (UltraTax, CCH, Lacerte, etc.)
Comp & Logistics
- Competitive base salary (varies by firm and focus): $130-165K+ Bonuses
