Senior IT Project Manager

Location: Hybrid Remote - Chicago, IL (2-3 days onsite weekly)

Compensation: $120,000 - $150,000 + Full Benefits

Focus: Managed Services | Professional Services | Client Delivery | SMB & Mid-Market Environments

We are working with a growing IT solutions provider that is looking to add a Senior IT Project Manager to their delivery team in the Chicago market. This is a client-facing role supporting a mix of managed services and professional services engagements across SMB and middle market clients.

This position will be responsible for managing multiple client projects at the same time while working closely with engineering, leadership, vendors, and customer stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.

The environment is fast-paced and highly collaborative, making this a strong fit for someone who enjoys owning projects end-to-end while working across a variety of technologies and client environments.

Responsibilities:

• Manage multiple client-facing IT projects simultaneously from kickoff through delivery
• Serve as the primary point of contact for project communication, timelines, risks, and deliverables
• Coordinate closely with engineering, managed services, and leadership teams
• Oversee project schedules, budgets, milestones, and documentation
• Help guide onboarding and transition activities tied to managed services engagements
• Drive status meetings, stakeholder communication, and overall project execution
• Work across infrastructure, cloud, security, and managed services-related initiatives

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of IT project management experience within an MSP, VAR, consulting, or IT services environment
• Experience managing multiple concurrent client projects and priorities
• Strong client-facing communication and stakeholder management experience
• PMP certification preferred
• Familiarity with managed services and professional services delivery models
• Experience working with SMB and middle market customer environments
