Overview

We are seeking a Principal Network Engineer / Architect to join a high-performance Managed Services engineering team supporting complex enterprise network environments.

The Principal Engineer will serve as the senior technical authority across multiple enterprise clients simultaneously, supporting production networks that span large-scale campus, data center, and WAN infrastructures.

Success in this role requires the ability to context switch across multiple enterprise environments, diagnose complex networking issues quickly, and provide expert-level technical leadership to both internal teams and client engineering organizations.

  • Perform advanced troubleshooting across complex Cisco and Arista production networks
  • Lead root cause analysis for high-severity network incidents impacting enterprise environments
  • Operate as the technical authority supporting several enterprise infrastructures simultaneously
  • Provide architectural guidance across campus, data center, and WAN network designs
  • Troubleshoot advanced routing, switching, and overlay networking architectures
  • Serve as an internal escalation resource for complex TAC-level networking issues
  • Partner directly with enterprise client engineering teams and infrastructure leadership
  • Develop documentation, standards, and best practices across managed environments

  • SD-WAN (Viptela or similar)
  • Complex enterprise routing and switching environments

Arista Expertise

  • Experience designing and troubleshooting modern Arista environments including:
  • Arista EOS switching platforms
  • EVPN / VXLAN spine-leaf data center fabrics
  • Large-scale Arista data center deployments

  • Experience with Arista CloudVision is a plus

Ideal Candidate Background

  • 10+ years of enterprise networking experience
  • Engineers operating at CCIE-level depth (certification not required)
  • Strong experience in Managed Services, MSP, VAR, or consulting environments
  • Proven ability to support multiple enterprise clients simultaneously
  • Track record of solving complex production networking issues
  • Experience supporting large-scale enterprise or Fortune 500 infrastructure environments
  • Ability to operate independently as a senior technical authority

Role Highlights:
