The Opportunity

We are looking for an Audit Manager to join our assurance practice in a fully remote capacity. You will lead financial statement audits for a diverse commercial client base — privately held businesses and global public companies across a range of industries — while managing engagement teams and serving as a primary point of contact for clients.

What You'll Do

  • Lead and manage financial statement audit engagements from planning through issuance across a general commercial client base
  • Serve as the day-to-day client relationship owner — you are the face of the engagement, not a layer removed from it
  • Review workpapers, lead fieldwork, and ensure engagements are delivered on time and on budget
  • Mentor and develop staff and senior associates, building the next generation of firm talent
  • Collaborate directly with partners on client strategy and business development
  • Apply technical accounting knowledge to complex issues — ASC research, financial reporting matters, and client-specific challenges


What We're Looking For

  • 5+ years of public accounting audit experience, with at least 1–2 years managing engagements or supervising teams
  • Background at a Big 4 or top 25 firm strongly preferred — you have seen what a rigorous audit looks like and you have run one
  • Strong technical foundation in US GAAP and financial statement auditing across commercial industries
  • Active CPA license required
  • Strong client-facing communication skills — someone clients trust and want on their engagement
  • Self-directed and accountable; you manage deadlines and deliverables without needing close oversight
  • Comfortable and effective working in a remote-first environment with distributed teams
