Remote Tax Manager - Wealth Management | $150K + Bonus | No Billable Hours
Location: Fully Remote (United States)
Compensation: $120,000 -$150,000 base + 10-15% annual bonus
Requirements: Active CPA or EA | 5+ years tax experience | 1-2 years supervisory experience

The Role:
As Tax Manager, you'll lead high-complexity tax engagements for clients with $5M+ net worth while developing the next generation of tax professionals. You'll balance hands-on technical work with team leadership and client relationship management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and review sophisticated individual, trust, and business tax returns for ultra-HNW clients
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to senior associates and staff
- Partner with wealth advisors on proactive tax planning and wealth transfer strategies
- Lead client meetings and communicate complex tax concepts to non-tax professionals
- Drive tax planning initiatives during non-peak periods (genuine advisory work, not busywork)
- Support business development through thought leadership and client presentations
What You Bring:
- 5+ years public accounting or private wealth tax experience (Big 4, national, or RIA background)
- 1-2 years managing, supervising, or leading tax professionals
- Active CPA or EA license (required)
- Deep expertise in individual, trust, partnership, and S-Corp taxation
- Experience with CCH Axcess Tax and SurePrep (preferred)
- Demonstrated ability to explain technical concepts clearly to clients and advisors
- High-net-worth client experience strongly preferred
