As we continue to grow, we are seeking an experienced Healthcare Superintendent to join our team in Lakeland, FL. This is a critical leadership role for someone passionate about healthcare construction, safety, quality, and building lasting relationships in the field.

About the Role

As a Healthcare Superintendent, you will be the on-site leader responsible for managing day-to-day construction activities on healthcare projects ranging from ground-up medical facilities to complex renovations in active hospital environments. You’ll work closely with project managers, subcontractors, and clients to ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all field operations and ensure compliance with project specs, schedules, and safety regulations
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, architects, and subcontractors
• Schedule and manage inspections, deliveries, and trade work
• Enforce quality control standards and safety policies on-site
• Maintain clear, proactive communication with clients and project stakeholders
• Provide leadership and mentorship to field staff and trades
• Manage documentation including daily logs, progress reports, and safety reports

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years of superintendent experience with at least 3 years focused on healthcare construction
• Strong understanding of AHCA requirements, infection control, and hospital safety standards
• Proven ability to manage complex renovation projects in active healthcare settings
• OSHA 30 certification required
• Proficient in construction management software and tools (Procore experience a plus)
• Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and contracts
• Local to or willing to relocate to Lakeland, FL
