As demand in our CAS practice continues to expand, we are seeking an experienced Client Accounting Services Manager to join our fully remote team.
Position Overview
The CAS Manager will oversee a portfolio of clients, lead a team of accounting professionals, and serve as a trusted advisor to business owners and leadership teams. This role blends technical accounting oversight with forward-looking financial strategy and operational advisory.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage and review monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes for multiple clients
- Oversee preparation and review of financial statements and management reports
- Provide cash flow forecasting, budgeting, and KPI analysis
- Serve as a strategic advisor to clients, offering financial insight and operational guidance
- Supervise, mentor, and develop CAS team members
- Ensure accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with GAAP standards
- Improve and streamline accounting processes using cloud-based technology tools
- Collaborate with Tax and Audit teams to ensure seamless client service delivery
- Support business development efforts within the CAS practice
Qualifications
- 3+ years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 2+ years in a leadership role
- Public accounting experience strongly preferred
- Experience in Client Accounting Services, outsourced accounting, or fractional CFO services preferred
- Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting
- Experience with cloud-based accounting systems (QuickBooks Online, NetSuite, Xero, etc.)
- Advanced Excel skills and financial modeling experience
- Strong communication and client-facing skills
- Proven ability to manage multiple clients and deadlines in a remote environment
