The Role

As a Tax Manager, you will lead client engagements, mentor staff, and serve as a trusted advisor to clients while helping support the continued growth of the firm’s tax practice.

You’ll work closely with partners and firm leadership while gaining meaningful exposure to a broad client base and increasing leadership opportunities within the organization.


Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and review complex tax engagements for individuals, corporations, partnerships, and fiduciary entities
  • Develop and maintain strong client relationships through proactive communication and trusted advisory service
  • Provide tax planning, research, and strategic guidance to clients
  • Mentor, coach, and develop associates, seniors, and supervisors
  • Review work prepared by staff to ensure quality and compliance
  • Collaborate with partners on engagement strategy and client deliverables
  • Manage multiple engagements and deadlines effectively
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes and add greater value to clients


What We’re Looking For

  • 5+ years of public accounting tax experience
  • CPA license preferred
  • Strong experience reviewing complex tax returns and managing engagements
  • Proven leadership and staff mentoring experience
  • Strong communication and client relationship skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment
  • Desire to grow long-term within a highly respected regional firm
  • Team-oriented mindset with strong attention to detail
